The Filipino Music Awards has officially revealed the nominees for its 2026 edition, recognizing the artists, recordings, live experiences, and industry organizations whose work has helped shape the sound and story of Filipino music during the eligibility period.
Organized across the Grand Awards, Genre Awards, and People’s Choice Awards, this year’s nominations reflect the breadth of an industry continuing to move across generations, genres, and audiences. From chart-topping pop and hip-hop to rock, alternative, R&B, and folk, the 2026 nominees represent some of the most significant artistic and commercial achievements in Original Pilipino Music.
Among the artists receiving recognition across this year’s Grand Awards are BINI, Cup of Joe, Maki, IV OF SPADES, and SB19, who will compete for Artist of the Year.
The nominees for Album of the Year similarly reflect a wide range of creative directions, from major pop releases to comeback records and deeply personal debut statements. Maki’s KOLORCOASTER, IV OF SPADES’ Andalucia, SB19’s Wakas At Simula, Janine Berdin’s LAB SONGS NG MGA TANGA, and BINI’s Signals make up this year’s field.
Meanwhile, Song of the Year brings together five recordings that found their place in the country’s musical landscape: Skusta Clee and Flow G’s chart-topping collaboration “Since Day One,” Ben&Ben’s “Lifetime (Reimagined),” IV OF SPADES’ “Kabisado,” El Manu’s “Tahanan,” and Jolianne and Arthur Nery’s “Palayo Sa Mundo.”
The awards also recognize the continued strength of Filipino live music through Concert of the Year and Tour of the Year, honoring the artists and teams responsible for bringing some of the year’s biggest musical experiences to audiences in the Philippines and beyond.
