SB19 began their journey to becoming the Kings of P-pop in 2018. After releasing their debut single, “Tilaluha,” and their debut EP, Go Up, in 2019, Pablo, Josh, Stell, Justin, and Ken went on to make history with chart-topping singles, record-breaking concerts and tours. Today, the group is now recognized as leaders of the P-pop genre, while also making their mark across various forms of art through exciting collaborations.

IV OF SPADES, composed of Zild Benitez, Unique Salonga, Blaster Silonga, and Badjao de Castro, formed in 2014 and gained widespread recognition with their 2018 single “Mundo.” They released their debut full-length album, CLAPCLAPCLAP!, in 2019. After going on hiatus in 2020 and pursuing solo projects, they made a highly anticipated comeback in 2025 with their single Aura, which charted on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100. Their sophomore album, Andalucia, is set for release in November 2025.

BINI debuted in 2020, during a time of uncertainty in the COVID-19 pandemic. Through perseverance and resilience, Mikha, Maloi, Aiah, Jhoanna, Colet, Sheena, Gwen, and Stacey broke out with viral hits like Pantropiko and Salamin, Salamin, which launched them onto the global stage. Most recently, they are set to become the first all-Filipino girl group to perform at Coachella in 2026.

The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1973 (originally as the CCP Philharmonic) to accompany performances at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. It has since established itself as the country’s premier symphony orchestra, performing with both local and international soloists. In 2016, it became the first Filipino orchestra to perform at New York’s Carnegie Hall.

As the lead vocalist of the iconic 1970s folk-rock group Asin, Lolita Carbon has cemented her place as one of OPM’s legendary performers. She began her career by joining a radio singing contest at age ten and went on to contribute timeless songs such as “Masdan Mo ang Kapaligiran,” “Himig ng Pag-ibig,” and “Usok” — the latter being among the first Philippine songs to adopt a reggae style.

Dubbed the Philippines’ “Pop Rock Royalty,” Yeng Constantino rose to fame in 2006 after winning the first season of Pinoy Dream Academy. Her debut album Salamat was released in January 2007, went triple-platinum in the Philippines, and produced multiple chart-topping hits. Over the years, she has earned more than 70 major awards, with songs like “Hawak Kamay,” “Jeepney Love Story,” “Chinito,” and “Ikaw” becoming OPM staples.

BGYO was formed in 2018 through ABS-CBN’s Star Hunt Academy and consists of members Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate. They debuted in 2021 with the single The Light, which was part of the He’s Into Her soundtrack and won “Best Theme Song” at the 2021 Asian Academy Creative Awards. Their debut album The Light topped the iTunes Philippines Top 100 Albums chart for 12 consecutive days, the longest streak for a Filipino act on the platform.

Maki first gained attention in the OPM scene with his singles:  “Saan?” and “Bakit?,” released in 2023. In 2024, his breakout track Dilaw made him a mainstream sensation, becoming the first chart-topper on Billboard Philippines’ relaunched Hot 100 chart. Since then, he has released several singles, which are included in his debut album KOLORCOASTER.

Ely Buendia, frontman of the legendary band Eraserheads, is widely regarded as an icon of Philippine rock. He helped shape the 1990s alternative rock movement in OPM, with the Eraserheads producing songs and albums that defined a generation and remain beloved today. While continuing his solo career with his recent album Method Adaptor, the much-anticipated Eraserheads comeback has also reignited excitement among fans of the OPM rock legend.

Leaders of today’s Pinoy folk scene, Ben&Ben first captured audiences in 2017 with their heartfelt single “Kathang-Isip.” In 2019, their debut studio album Limasawa Street earned both critical acclaim and commercial success. Since then, they have released multiple award-winning songs and become one of the most-streamed Filipino acts on Spotify, known for their poetic lyrics and socially reflective themes.

Gloc-9 is celebrated as one of the Philippines’ greatest rappers, known for his sharp, socially conscious lyrics in songs such as “Upuan,” “Sirena,” and “Simpleng Tao.” His decades-long career has made him one of the country’s most successful and best-selling hip-hop artists. With over 25 years in the industry, he has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious SUDI National Music Award from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, as well as induction into the Calle Con Hall of Fame in 2019.

As one of the founding members of the multi-Grammy award-winning group, Black Eyed Peas, Apl.de.ap has been waving the Philippine flag and Filipino pride on the global stage. The Pampanga-born Filipino-American musician has spent decades bridging cultures through music with Black Eyed Peas songs like “Bebot” and “The APL Song” that showcase his experiences as a Filipino immigrant. Beyond his work with the group, he has also pursued solo projects, collaborated with international and OPM artists, and supported emerging Filipino talents.

Formed in 2018, Baguio-based pop rock band Cup of Joe — comprising Gian Bernardino, Raphaell Ridao, Gabriel Fernandez, CJ Fernandez, and Xen Gareza — first broke through with the 2023 track “Tingin” featuring Janine Teñoso. In 2024, their hit song “Multo” propelled them to new heights, making them the first Filipino act to enter the Billboard Global 200. The single also set the record for the longest-reigning No. 1 song on the Billboard Philippines charts. Since then, the group has released its highly anticipated debut album, SILAKBO, and sold out multiple arena shows in the country.
