Filipino Music Awards 2025 Brings the Philippine Music Industry Together for a Landmark Celebration

Thousands gathered at the SM Mall of Asia Arena for a night honoring the artists, songs, albums, performances, and achievements shaping Filipino music.

The Filipino Music Awards 2025 brought together the Philippine music industry for a landmark celebration of OPM on October 21, 2025, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

More than 8,000 attendees and over 300 of the country’s leading artists gathered for an evening dedicated to recognizing artistic achievement, commercial success, cultural impact, and the people and organizations contributing to the continued growth of Filipino music.

Hosted by Joey Mead King, Michael Sager, and Elijah Canlas, the Filipino Music Awards celebrated achievements spanning contemporary genres, fan-driven honors, legacy recognitions, and the year’s major accomplishments in music.

SB19 emerged as one of the evening’s biggest winners, taking home six awards, including Artist of the Year. Cup of Joe received two of the night’s major honors, with “Multo” named Song of the Year and Silakbo winning Album of the Year. Sony Music Philippines was recognized as Music Company of the Year.

The celebration extended beyond the awards themselves. The FMA stage featured performances from IV OF SPADES, BGYO, Maki, BINI, apl.de.ap, Maxie Andreison, Gloc-9, Yeng Constantino, Lolita Carbon, Cup of Joe, Ely Buendia, SB19, and other Filipino artists.

The evening culminated with SB19 and Ben&Ben joining forces for a performance of “Kapangyarihan,” bringing the celebration to a powerful close.

FMA 2025 also honored the artists and institutions whose contributions have helped shape Philippine music. Pilita Corrales received the Tribute Award, Ang Misyon, Inc. was recognized as Music Foundation of the Year, and Jose Mari Chan received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Beyond the arena, the Filipino Music Awards 2025 generated more than half a billion pesos in earned media value across television, print, digital, and social platforms.

More than a celebration of individual achievements, FMA 2025 brought together generations, genres, and different corners of the industry on one stage, creating a shared moment for Filipino music and the community behind it.
